I can’t believe it’s February!

Hi, everyone. It’s been months since I last posted. I’ve been busier than ever, and I can’t believe how time flies! The business is expanding, I have some fantastic drivers working with me, and I just took delivery of my second wheelchair-accessible van. But more on that later!

The other day, a patient of mine asked me how I’ve avoided catching the flu in one of the worst flu seasons. Her question inspired me to write this blog, sharing with you a secret flu prevention tip that has kept me flu free — so far, fingers crossed. 🙂

What’s my secret? Alcohol-based hand sanitizer! Okay, it’s not really a secret, but it has kept me flu free, in my opinion. Before and after transporting a patient, I rub my hands with a sanitizer for 15 seconds. And that’s it!

There is more, of course, such as not touching your eyes, nose or mouth, and covering your cough, but we all know these, right?

Have a flu-free week! 🙂
